In 1972, Johnny Carson moved \"The Tonight Show\" from the NBC studios in New York, to the NBC facility in Burbank, CA. There it has stayed since, but in 2009, the Tonight Show wil be leaving what it\'s known as home for 37 years to brand new, state of the art digital facilities in nearby Universal Studios.\nThis video footage of me at the NBC studios in Burbank, CA was taken in January of 1999.\nStick around till the end and you\'ll be treated to a surprise appearance by Fat Al, the former Tonight show sound engineer who, in the 90s, would occasionally show up on camera dressed only in his underwear. Alas, he doesn\'t do that anymore.
